Other places you can think of getting away to while in Cape Town are the Atlantic coast of the Cape Peninsula famed for its beautiful coastal scenery, Camps Bay, Beach resorts like Clifton and False Bay are popular haunts and Groot Constantiais is the oldest wine-growing region. Cape Flats are where the majority of local inhabitants live. It is best to only enter this area with a local guide. In contrast, the Southern Suburbs are the expensive residential suburbs where the rich and affluent reside.
