New York City Cuisine

New York City is a food-lovers dream. Some of the greatest chefs in the world have come to New York and every night they prepare the finest cuisine from every corner of the globe. You will have no difficulty finding foods of every imaginable ethnic variety here in the center of the great ethnic "melting pot". Traditional favorites like Italian, Chinese, French, Indian, Thai, Mexican, and Spanish are easily found in every neighborhood. There are dozens of experimental restaurants that fuse cooking styles and ingredients in new and exciting ways. The list of choices is nearly infinite. During your visit you will no doubt be drawn to famous restaurants which show up in all of the travel guides, but our advice is to visit some of the spots that may not be on your tourist map.
