Orlando Restaurants

Dinner in Orlando does not have to mean a burger at the amusement park or a fast-food drive through. Of course, those options are available, but the bigger amusement parks offer some very good food right on the premises. If you are visiting Mickey you will find everything from family-friendly places that include a show to legitimate 5-star dining experiences. If you would like to get away from the parks there are choices everywhere. Although it sounds a bit stuffy, the Lake Eola Yacht Club is a great choice for a casual lunch or dinner. Outdoor tables catch the lake breeze and provide an excellent view of the city skyline.

Dexter's of Thornton Park is a trendy downtown restaurant that features excellent American cuisine. If you are in need of something healthy after a few days of excess, Seasons 52 ought to be just the ticket. This 'casually sophisticated' grill and wine bar has a menu that changes with the seasons. None of the entrees is more than 450 calories, none of the desserts more than 250 calories. And Chef Clifford Pleau cooks only with olive oil -- there's not a stick of butter in his kitchen.
