Since there's little happening out doors, any time is a good time to come to Reno. While, summer is warm, winter can get quite cold. The main attractions here are the casinos and their number are growing at a steady pace. Most of the casinos are in the downtown North Virginia St area. There are plenty of beaches here too making the lake an ideal holiday resort. Other areas to visit around Reno and Tahoe include Incline Village - an elite residential area - the Pyramid Lake has great fishing, the Dunn Hatchery, the Great Stone Mother and Basket.

You can get to Reno by the train, bus, driving or flying. The Reno-Cannon International Airport has flights to many western US cities and some other major US cities. Reno is also reachable by the Greyhound bus network. The airport is just a few miles from downtown allowing for easy access to your hotel.
